Facebook is looking for a Director, Finance Project Management Office to lead a global team of highly motivated and skillful project managers.

This individual will work and collaborate with leaders in Finance and Enterprise Engineering to drive the portfolio of strategic Finance projects, optimize project management processes and enable scalable solutions to support business growth and address risks.

Key elements of the role include developing compelling recommendations to leadership, managing large groups of stakeholders from cross functional teams, and presenting regular project updates to the CFO and Finance leadership team.

This highly qualified and technically proficient leader will also stay abreast of Facebook’s technology, business strategies, product roadmaps and the CAO and broader Finance priorities.

The candidate needs to be comfortable and highly effective in a rapidly changing environment, providing guidance, analysis and helping make decisions.

Director of Finance, Project Management Office Responsibilities

Lead a team of Finance Project Managers to plan, manage and execute on complex Finance projects in partnership with Enterprise Engineering

Collaborate with Finance leadership in developing a roadmap that aligns with CAO and CFO goals

Ensure appropriate sponsorship and align stakeholders around initiative goals and work proactively with Finance Leadership to develop a coordinated portfolio and related roadmaps, while resolving conflicts between projects

Lead Quarterly Finance Alignment meeting with CFO and extended leadership team to discuss project status and upcoming initiatives, including preparation of materials to facilitate executive review and decision-making

Provide leadership on fast-moving, complicated projects and act as the primary point of contact for Finance Leadership

Develop and maintain strong relationships with Finance leadership, Enterprise Engineering, and other key business partners & stakeholders in a way that fosters an open environment of continuous dialogue and information exchange

Maintain a thorough understanding of business-critical Finance processes, systems and risks impacting the overall portfolio of priority projects

Manage capacity planning for resources needed to ensure successful implementation

Implement standards and best practices for defining/scoping/implementing large cross functional projects

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

15+ years of relevant Business/Finance/Project Management experience

Experience managing a global team and scaling large organizations

Experience working in a global cross-functional global environment

Experience with intake/prioritization/status best practices and related sets

Preferred Qualifications

CPA/PMP certification

Deep knowledge in Information Systems, Finance applications, ERP implementations
