Financial Auditor


This is a Full-time position in Austin, TX posted July 15, 2021.


BrainJuice is a natural brain supplement company based in Austin, Texas that was founded in 2013.

Our product is a natural supplement that is a solution to providing the nutrients the brain needs for cognitive performance.

At BrainJuice, we believe that food is medicine.

We have a proprietary formula that includes a Brain Power Blend and antioxidant complex derived from organic blueberry, organic acai, organic acerola cherry, and green tea along with vitamins B12 & C to help protect and energize the brain.

BrainJuice distributes to natural distributors and key accounts in the United States, with plans to expand to ex-US territories in 2022 and 2023.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare accounting audits for (5) prior years of the company, including accurate reconstruction of chart of accounts, reviews, and compilations SEC compliance reviews for (5) prior years of accounting and finance Review and evaluate accounting and reporting standards Assist the CEO and Director of Accounting in planning Prepare financial statements and evaluate internal controls Communicate effectively with internal company culture, developing positive relationships Communicate with CEO and Senior management on project status and issues that arise Perform needed revisions to bookkeeping protocols, prepare financial statements, tax return preparation Assist Director of Accounting in evaluating and establishing financial reporting internal controls Review (5) years of QuickBooks for alignment with modern and changes as a result of business growth Review (5) years of quarterly payroll tax returns and year-end filings, reconciliations, W2s and 1099s Minimum Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and Mathematics Licensed CPA in the state of Texas Minimum of 6-8 years of Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience Deep proven experience, knowledge, and understanding of timelines and what is required to properly manage projects Experience with managing large scale projects Deep experience and knowledge of CPG, consumer product, natural and supplement sector nuances, including manufacturing and production accounting Exhibit strong analytical and strategic thinking and planning (careful and thoughtful preparation for meetings and presentations) Experience in connecting insights, product plans, and performance metrics for senior management and the team to evaluate Ability to give and receive constructive feedback Ability to work independently and remotely (this is a temporary position and will require an independent work environment) Ability to lead in a team-based approach to decision making Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, constantly challenging environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results Effective and proficient ability to articulate, comprehend, articulate, and dissect mathematical and metric reporting of product formulas, testing, inventory, and other reports related to product and product operations (Expressing oneself clearly in conversation and in writing) Effective communication, written, mathematical, and presentation skills Expert proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google products and applications, inventory and supply chain financial systems Expert proficiency with prominent inventory management software, product supply chain operating systems, and operation management systems commonly used by consumer product companies This includes: Quickbooks, CCH Prosystems, Powerpoint, Excel, Word, DropBox, 3PL, and Oracle NetSuite Also may include Project management software such as, etc.
