Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the Director of Benefit / Product Strategy to analyze benefit investments and contract carve-outs to deliver key insights on trends and total financial impact Analyze trends related to benefit investments and plan carve-outs and provide insight on forecast inputs as part of the Annual Plan and Quarterly Forecasting to budget owners / finance liaisons Oversee and monitor forecast inputs and allocation methodologies to ensure market level reporting is accurate and consistent with actual market activity Perform enterprise-wide benefit investments and plan carve-outs ad-hoc analysis and successfully fulfill any related special project requests Refresh and tie-out monthly, quarterly and annual financial data models to include but not limited to monthly actuals, forecast models and budget files Demonstrate strong research and analysis skills Demonstrate strong attention to details and effective multi-tasking Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited college / university (other degrees are considered when accompanied by aptitude or interest in finance) with a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA 4+ years of relevant FP&A experience 2+ years of management experience Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel as well as proficiency in other Office applications Hyperion PeopleSoft and Smartview / Essbase experience Strong communication skills with ability to relay financial findings in a clear and concise manner Ability to work in a high pace environment with tight financial deadlines Skilled in multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads Content with repetitive monthly financial reporting responsibility If located outside of San Antonio, must be willing to commute to the office twice a week If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.

When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas.

In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders
