The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to help children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs.

As a HR Specialist , you will be support the mission of the organization by providing full cycle human resources support to the staff.

This will include benefits administration, managing all employee leave programs, overseeing and participating in the unemployment process as well as managing all training for the organization.

· Ensures the accuracy of all benefit enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information
· Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes
· Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility
· Enrolls employees with carriers and process life status changes
· Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries
· Assists with open enrollment
· Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA
· Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.

· Handles the FMLA leave administration process from the employees’ initial notice of the need for leave to the return to work.

This includes gathering and completing all required paperwork, determining leave eligibility, designating leave as FMLA-qualifying, requesting medical certification as needed, and accounting for intermittent and reduced schedule leave use.

· Reconcile all benefit and leave related invoices timely and accurately
· Organizes and coordinates training sessions
· Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.

This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.

· Maintain personnel files, which includes reviewing for accuracy and completion prior to the creation of new files and filing updated documents Minimum Education
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field Minimum Experience
· Three (3) years related experience in human resources Skills Needed
· Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Able to put together PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets, with formulas.

· Time Management
