Wealth Strategist


This is a Contract position in Round Rock, TX posted March 23, 2022.

Job Details Description WHAT YOU’LL DOThe Wealth Strategist will serve as a wealth planning expert and a resource for high net worth clients and prospects, generating solutions that will include trusts, closely hold business entities and exit strategies, IRAs, executive compensation plans, and charitable entities.Additional Duties: Review and summarize estate planning documents to help advisors and clients understand a client’s current plan, identify issues, and make recommendations to enhance planning and minimize taxes.Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive solutions for the advisors, the client, and the client’s legal and tax professionals.

Participate in meetings with clients and colleagues to discover opportunities and present recommendations.Develop materials for internal and external use.Educate colleagues on basic and complex estate planning strategies.Assist with a variety of fiduciary legal matters, including fiduciary litigation, releases, non-judicial settlement agreements, etc.

WHAT YOU’LL BRINGKnowledge of: Deep understanding of federal and state estate and income tax laws and regulation; stay current with evolving strategies, legislation, case lawStrong oral and written communication skillsMicrosoft Office suite of products Ability to: Ability to present complex matters in a straightforward and understandable mannerCreative approach to complicated situationsManage complex projects and multiple prioritiesIdentify and analyze problem situations and develop appropriate solutionsWork as a team to meet project deadlines WHY IT MATTERSBe a part of a rapidly growing full service wealth management division, helping high net worth clients realize their financial goals with sophisticated planning techniques.EDUCATION, TRAINING & STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE Bachelor’s degree required.

JD required; will consider CPA or CFP ® with sophisticated estate planning experience.Six to ten years in private practice or estate-planning related work.High level of technical expertise in estate planning, including taxation, insurance, IRAs, closely held entities, and charitable entities.Experience with international situations is a plus.
