It all begins with you.Finance brings together enterprise functions that drive Wells Fargo’s financial management, including accounting and control, financial planning and analysis, line of business finance, asset-liability management, treasury, tax management, and the company’s investment portfolios.

They also inform shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, employees, and leaders of the company’s financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines.The Finance Strategy Lead will be a strategic thinker and partner to the Technology CFO’s and Chiefs of Staff with day-to-day responsibilities focused on process improvement, transformation, and tool adoption.

Additionally, the Finance Lead will have responsibilities to organize planning processes and coordinate and compile portfolio / book of work (BOW) expense planning and business case development in collaboration with Technology and LOB counterparts.Strong analytical abilities with knowledge of financial systems and related process workflows with the ability to simplify/analyze large data sets in order to tell the story behind the financials and prepare creative and intuitive presentations will be critical for this role.Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting Desired Qualifications A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or ReportingAbility to manage effectively in a matrixed organizationExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Other Desired Qualifications10+ years experience in Strategy, Analytics, and Business Process5+ years of Technology Finance experience5+ years experience in management consulting5+ years experience in financial management supporting large-scale organizations5+ years experience in executive leadership/partnership roleOrganized and detail-oriented; strong project management skillsExceptional and creative PowerPoint skillsA demonstrated ability to conceive, design, and implement business process improvements that improve efficiency while maintain a strong risk and control environmentCapacity and desire to work both at a strategic and detailed analysis levelSuperior time management skills with ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities for both day-to-day activities and longer term projectsBachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, MIS, or EconomicsExperience partnering in either a Finance and/or Business Management leadership capacity and providing insights/recommendations to senior managementExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across business and technology support functionsConfident and personable attitude with the ability to face off with senior management at all levels, influence/handle difficult messages, problem solve, and resolve conflictsExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities under pressureExperience with visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau and Business Objects preferredSelf-motivated individual to go beyond immediate responsibilitiesDemonstrated track record of successfully building organizational capability including high performing teams, process, and technology.
