BrooksWatson & Co.

is a CPA firm that specializes in financial audits.

We are actively looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the firm’s mission to provide our audit services efficiently while being maintained on a personal level.

Candidates must have 1+ years of current or recent administrative experience and be comfortable with working in a virtual environment.

We offer a flexible work environment which includes a combination of working remotely from home and from the firm office.

Our Ideal Candidate Likely Has:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum 1+ years of experience Experience in a CPA Firm environment preferred Understanding of accounting is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) Well-developed interpersonal skills.

Ability to get along well with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, and flexible.

Ability to operate independently and self-manage projects.

Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.

  Sound administrative skills.

Well-developed management skills.

Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, but able to recognize and support the Partners’ preferences and priorities.

Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition to traditional administrative support, this individual will be responsible for functions associated with the servicing of clients through:
Generation of correspondence Data entry File maintenance Printing and binding client deliverables Other duties as requested or needed to maintain the efficient processing of documents and communications within the firm’s internal operations.
