Administrative Assistant

This is a Full-time position in Dallas, TX posted December 11, 2021.

Summary: Responsible for answering phones, invoicing, filing, creating work orders, and other duties by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

· Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying documents.

· File & organize office documents

· Maintain training files

· Answer and direct phone calls.

· Email correspondence.

· Receive and direct visitors and clients.

· Distributes incoming mail or other materials to appropriate personnel.

· Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

· Prepares packets to be mailed to other locations that may include confidential information.

· Open and close work orders.

· Quoting

· Prepare invoices.

· Monitor office supplies and inventory & order supplies.

· Assists managers with projects, as needed.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Quantum, order processing software, database software, and Microsoft Outlook.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Equipment:

Desktop computer/laptop, multi-line telephone.

· Time management skills

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Ability to work in a team and individually

· Ability to prioritize work assignments

· Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes in work assignments
