Reporting to the Vice President, Information Technology, this person will be responsible to work directly with the Information Technology Department in the areas of data entry, record keeping and reporting.

They will also provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience of relevant Administrative Assistant experience.Additional Responsibilities Include:Preparing reports, memos, letters, and other documents as needed.Performing general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining records management database systems.Managing information, as well as organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, ensuring files are updated and maintained.Transforming raw data into detailed and comprehensive reports using advanced MS Excel skills.Generating complex monthly reports; creating charts, graphs, and technical documents.Answering phones.Managing the Purchase Order process for the site.Completing End of Month reports for management by analyzing data, creating pivot tables and graphs.Arranging all necessary preparations and follow-up for meetings, including timely notifications, distribution of meeting materials and decisions/actions, and appropriate reminders.Coordinating travel, including ground transportation, hotel accommodations, itinerary planning, meeting coordination, and ensuring office requirements and facilities at destination are arranged, if required for senior management.

Qualifications Include:High school diploma required.Associate’s Degree preferred; or 2-3 years of administrative experience in a corporate environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong Computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.Able to be truthful and credible in the workplace.Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.Capable of exercising judgement and discretion in confidential and sensitive matters.Experience and knowledge of Lean Daily Management principles is a plus.Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner.All Atkore team members must embrace and foster and environment that supports our core values of Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Teamwork and Accountability.Atkore is a recipient of a Great Place to Work© certification and a Top Workplaces USA award We’re committed to creating an engaged and aligned workforce that drives collaborative culture.
