Overview: Our Client, a leading provider of specialized logistics services, is currently seeking candidates for a contract-to-hire Administrative Support Specialist role.
This individual will be responsible for start to finish administration of client shipping operations.
As part of a highly collaborative team, this person plays a key role in proper handling of complex client requests and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
Located just South of Pittsburgh, this company offers a great work environment, including casual dress and a fun, friendly atmosphere.

This role is projected to be a hybrid work arrangement, with 3 days in-office and 2 working remotely.

Responsibilities: Coordinate all aspects of complex shipping requests.Thoroughly review all authorizations, account requirements, country requirements.Correspond with clients via email and phone quickly and efficiently.Confirmation of all key dates; shipment managementSubmit rate quotations via email and/or through 3rd party systems as required.Vendor management/selection/coordination as per account and company requirements.Maintain accurate data/notes entered in the internal system as well as 3rd party systems according to policy.
Qualifications: Technical Skills: Must have strong computer skills
– comfortable using Windows, MS Office, Internet, Email Experience: 2 years of experience in a responsible administrative, accounting, or customer service role; Prefer experience working directly with customers Additional Requirement: Strong math skills
