Customer Service Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

This is a Full-time position in Fort Worth, TX posted June 24, 2021.

The role of the Customer Service Receptionist is to represent the dealership as the first person the customer comes in contact with either by phone or in person, and do this by displaying a positive, energetic and inviting attitude.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain professional etiquette are a must.

As the primary receptionist for the department, answering the phones in a pleasant, helpful, and timely manner is of utmost importance.
Requirements
Manage the phones
The goal should be that the phone rings not more than twice before being answered.

And when redirecting a call, priority should be given to “Helping the customer”…

which should be viewed differently than “getting someone else to take over the call”.

(Emphasis should be placed on getting the customer’s call to the correct level of assistance).

When no one is available to take the call, carefully document the customer’s need (and contact information ) so a proper return call can be made by the best person to assist.
Manage the visiting customers
As the primary receptionist for the department, you will be the first face most customers will see as they enter the door.

A friendly, smiling face and an ability to direct the customer to the people that can assist their needs is very important.
Provide administrative support
The goal here is to be an administrative asset to the department to include performing tasks such as
Data entry
Mail sorting and directing
Outbound calls
Reservation / appointment setting
Schedules / calendars for managers
