Check in and check out patients for all providers in clinic EMR (electronic medical record). May serve as oral Spanish-language translator for staff if needed.Collect payments from patients, enter all charges, daily deposits, revenue logs and complete monthly reports. Enters billing into E.H.R. for all visits. Support the Medical Claims and Billing Specialist with claims management as needed.Maintains confidential patient records, including organization, data entry, filing/scanning of materials, printing medical records and creating labels.Assist the Clinic Director with administrative duties and clerical functions to support the overall operations of the clinic.Performs general clerical functions, e.g. making photocopies, sending faxes, ordering supplies, maintaining office, kitchen, and public areas. Distribute incoming mail and faxes.Schedule appointments, call for appointment reminders, answer incoming calls, screen patients for eligibility, and assist with scheduling referrals for patients as needed. Answer routine questions and direct questions to appropriate personnel.Other related functions as assigned.Required QualificationsHigh school graduation or GED.
