The company has its own 300-mph test wheel; a technology center; state-of-the-art, fully-integrated production facilities recently adding a high-tech mixing plant, with enough capacity to produce not only for Hoosier Racing Tire, but to have the ability to produce rubber for additional entities as well as a model sales and distribution network.Our Hoosier location at Plymouth, IN is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Tire Plant to join our team.Are you ready to shape the future with us?THE POSITION The Manufacturing Administrative Assistant supports the Rubber / Tire Plant team with focus on recurring administrative tasks, as well as specific project tasks which are administrative and data centric in nature.

Responsibilities Include:Manufacturing data and reporting functionsCoordinating meetings, schedules, tasks, visits and functionsAssist supervisors with timekeeping and other personnel support responsibilities as appropriate and coordinate appropriate actions with Human Resources DepartmentRecruitment, onboarding, and training support for new hires; as well as providing recommendations for potential training & improvement opportunities for existing employees Support plant merit tracking and hourly employee records Reporting support, as needed, for: Plant Operations Review (POR), Ad Hoc support for Manufacturing, Quality, and Human Resources PROMT project activity and support as appropriate Coordination and tracking of project status and follow-up meetingsBack up for other Administrative Assistants, The Pit Stop (Employee Store), Quality Audits, and SystemsPlanning of meetings / eventsCANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:Ability to maintain confidential information.Open to change with a strong mindset towards continuous improvement.
