Receptionist/Purchasing Specialist

This is a Full-time position in Houston, TX posted July 2, 2021.

Our manufacturing client in BAYTOWN, TX is looking for a Receptionist/Purchasing Specialist to add to their growing team.

This is a dual role, and they do provide training.

Responsibilities:
Front desk duties: Answering phones, greeting customer, process incoming mail Manage the receipt for material purchases and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure a competitive price Create and issue purchase orders Communicate material delivery status as well as shortages and delays to Production team members Review deliveries with orders to ensure accuracy Analyze and resolve unfavorable purchase price variances Negotiate and ensure company policies and procedures are followed Monitor supplier performance and take action when needed

Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Business Administration or years of experience in lieu of degree Excellent communication skills Ability to negotiate with suppliers 2-3 years of experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office
