This is a Full-time position in Dallas, TX posted June 9, 2021.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Project Manager for the Construction Department assumes responsibility for the successful and profitable management of construction crews, customers, and equipment/materials for all accounts assigned.

Construction Project Manager makes assignments by defining objectives, priorities and deadlines based on customer expectations.

Work and assists the Foremen with unusual situations or problems which do not have clear precedents.
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively manage client projects and coordinate job timing and specifics to achieve maximum results reflected in overall execution while maintaining profitability Work seamlessly and communicate well with general contractors, subcontractors, clients, and foremen to provide best customer service and highest quality service Hire, train and develop foremen / crew members; schedule and direct personnel to be as efficient, safe and productive as possible; complete and review timesheets for accuracy Ensure all work, individually or by team members is done in a safe and compliant manner Occasionally participate in field work, attend Company’s meeting as needed to meet Company’s budget as well as set good examples for all employees Control the flow of materials and spoils removal Order and procure materials/ equipment for upcoming jobs and provide PO’s to vendor Exceptional customer service and delivery to all customer -existing or potential, internal and external: being pro-active, building loyalty, customer satisfaction and follow thru Professional demeanor is a must: represent Company in a professional manner with integrity and honesty in all dealings.

Compliance with all company policies and procedures Maintain administrative continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
College preferred 3-5 years of landscape construction and installation experience preferred Previous leadership experience preferred
LICENSES + CERTIFICATIONS
Driver License
Irrigator Licence (Preferred)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES
Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, rewarding, disciplining employees, performance reviews, and addressing complaints and resolving problems
PHYSICAL DEMANDS (all required to be done for up to 8 hours or more a day):
While performing the essential duties of the job, the position requires physical abilities such as heavy lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, wrist-finger movement, digging using a shovel.

In addition, working conditions include inadequate lighting, restricted movement, dirty environment, air contamination, extreme temperatures and weather conditions, intense noise, hazardous materials, or lifting or carrying heavy objects.

The employee must be physically coherent and aware at all times especially when dealing with heavy machinery, equipment or while driving.
