Pay: Base pay +$1 Shift Differential
Direct Hire including Benefits, Bonus incentive plan and PTO.

Bakerly, a fast-growing French-based manufacturer of baked goods (crepes, brioche, and pastries) with a people-centered philosophy, has expanded into the US in 2016 and established its first U.S. Based manufacturing facility in Easton, PA. in 2017 and Bakerly is actively expanding production capacity at its new manufacturing facility in San Antonio, TX. ?We are currently hiring for multiple positions to build our team.
Scope/Purpose of the Position
Production Operators at Bakerly produce French Brioche. Production Operators are responsible for producing brioche breads with care, quality, and attention to detail, while operating alongside fellow operators for the satisfaction of our customers. Operating in a timely manner, maintaining a clean work environment, maintaining accurate production records, following procedures, daily task sheets, sanitation practices, and following GMPs is a must. Communicating effectively with all members of the organization is vital. This position will entail duties within the following area of the manufacturing line: Mixer, Molding and Oven.
Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Must have the ability to produce consistent and quality products that meet efficiency goals of your shift.
- Maintains accurate and timely records of production and quality documentation.
- Be involved in a culture of inclusion and engagement.
- Keeps communication with people up and down the production line.
- Maintain production at your area and address any employee, product, or equipment needs to line conductor.
- Effectively communicates deviations, line stops, or any production issues to rest of team to mitigate loss of product and down time.
- Establish and develop strong professional relationships with operators, line conductors, and supervisors.
- Notifies all safety and quality concerns immediately to Line Conductor, Supervisor, or member of management team.
- Follows Safety, Quality, Good Manufacturing Practices, and SOPs to ensure adherence to all quality requirements included in the HACCP program and Quality Assurance.
- Always follows proper PPE and attire when in production; including but not limited to uniforms, gloves, safety shoes, dust masks and others that may be required.
- Must be able to demonstrate interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills within your team, quality, and maintenance.
- Experience in food manufacturing or baking a plus.
- Complies with FDA, OSHA, and all other regulatory agencies while complying with Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality Assurance team.
- Must possess and demonstrate time management skills to ensure production operates efficiently.
- Ability to operate machinery and follow precise instructions.
- Be proficient and accurate in changeover procedures including but not limited to tooling changes, as well as recipe changes.
- Continuously observe and evaluate operations to identify problems and/or opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to quickly respond to changing priorities.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly using proper lifting techniques
- Complete tasks promptly and carefully.
- Ability to work quickly and cleanly.
- Flexible in helping all areas of operations to accommodate the continuous growth of operations.
Back Up
The Production Supervisor is the backup when Machine Operator is absent.
