The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company’s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.

The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs.

Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.

The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo’s risk and control infrastructure.

These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.

The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.

The Business Support Functional Consultant 1 is a senior role within the Chief Control Executive (CCE) Strategy, Planning and Governance team’s Education and Delivery group.

This newly created role is responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing a variety of services and initiatives for education, awareness and training across CCE and all Control Executive groups.

The nature of these projects will vary, but will include driving consistency, efficiency and effectiveness of the Control organization across the company.

This role will partner with executive management to define and deliver initiatives and programs and will build relationships with a wide variety of senior leaders and Enterprise partners.

Key responsibilities include:
Be a visible leader with Risk Awareness Campaign education, awareness initiatives, including communication content evaluation, development, and delivery of appropriate content Establish appropriate processes, documentation, and related materials to maximize program desired outcome, reach and efficiency for the Risk Awareness Campaign partnering with leaders across multiple disciplines with Wells Fargo.

Create consistent campaign program across front line and independent risk management risk communications Develop reporting and analytics to measure effectiveness and opportunities for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services 5+ years of leadership experience
Other Desired Qualifications Prior experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development or Risk program areas developing education and awareness programs across a wide range of audiences, topics and requirements Execution oriented, professional demeanor, self-starter behavior and able to recognize opportunities for improvement and to act on those opportunities Ability to contribute or lead enterprise wide initiatives Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills (written and verbal) with ability to communicate with senior management audience Able to synthesize material from multiple sources (e.g., presentations, SharePoint sites, regulatory materials, etc.) to create logically-structured content that clearly communicates the intended topic to a wide range of audiences Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and manage projects involving stakeholders at all levels of the organization Able to think strategically and pivot between multiple priorities Experience developing communications materials for diverse audiences Demonstrated strength delivering effective solutions from concept to execution Ability to focus on problem solving and process improvement in a rapidly changing environment.

Excellent influencing skills to drive executive decision-making and successfully negotiating critical problem resolution MBA or other advanced degree from a top program Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) skills Job Expectations
