Call Center Sales Training Manager

This is a Full-time position in Richardson, TX posted May 23, 2021.

DSI Systems Inc., an authorized DIRECTV/AT&T Representative partner, has an immediate career opportunity for a Call Center Sales Training Manager for our DIRECTV/AT&T product and service (video, broadband, and wireless) training efforts in their national Digital Acquisition Provider (DAP) partner channel.
Requirements
Identify and access the training needs through consultation with DIRECTV/AT&T/DSI/Partner account managers.

Deliver and host dynamic, energetic, and engaging trainings and meetings.

Oversee the creation, development, maintenance, organization, and execution all forms of DIRECTV/AT&T related training content and delivery for assigned partner audiences throughout the US and abroad.

Hire, develop, grow, advise, and manage a team of national training specialists Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of sales call center environments and culture
Responsibilities Will Include
On-site instructor-led classroom workshops, including, but not limited to, rep trainings, computer-based virtual trainings and webinars, Train-the-Trainer (T3) onboarding and continuing education efforts, side-by-side instruction for coaches, team leads, and SME’s.

Content creation, development, and management, as well as customer-facing relationship-management responsibilities will be required as well.

Working side-by-side with the Training Director and content developers to ensure timely and appropriate training material development and scheduling for any/all efforts.

In a post-covid world, this position will require moderate travel, averaging up to 50% at times, much of it overnight and outside of the employee’s home area (domestic w/possible international).
Essential Functions
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at each essential function, which include, but are not limited to
Ensure team delivers DIRECTV/AT&T-related product and service trainings to assigned Live-in-Person and Web-Based audiences in a dynamic, energetic, personable, engaging, intelligent yet entertaining fashion.

Design, develop, modify, update, and deliver customized & generic DIRECTV/AT&T-provided product and industry-related training programs and modules, for products, services, and promotions including, but not limited to, DIRECTV Video, AT&T High-Speed Internet, and AT&T Wireless.

Help build, update, and maintain sales & training presentations (PowerPoint, videos, etc.), job aids, reference material, and other pertinent digital vehicles for learning optimization across all assigned platforms and audiences – with primary focus on DIRECTV video, AT&T High-Speed internet, and AT&T wireless services, products, technologies, and sales skills/techniques.

Ability to gain insight and formulate patterns within each assigned audience to bring a unified training message throughout our programs.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Position Qualifications
Experience/Knowledge Base
Required Clear, dynamic, & precise communication skills to all levels of employees, from entry-level agents to leadership, both inside and outside our organization.

Required Video/cable, high-speed internet, wireless, and/or consumer electronics sales experience.

Required Minimum 5-7 years of elite-level presentation and training curriculum development.

Required Proficiency in many forms of audience-driven content creation, design, and delivery, especially Microsoft’s PowerPoint , with a detailed eye towards designing and delivering slides for clear, classroom projection.

The qualified candidate should be able to create and deliver clear, engaging, aesthetically formatted, and properly animated PowerPoint content with quickness and ease.

Required Extraordinary attention to details in content creation and language nuance required.

Required Ability to manage multiple deadlines for all partners, internal and external.

Highly Preferred Cloud-based content storage, organization, and file sharing expertise.

Preferred Polished On-camera skills.

Computer Skills
Required Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook); strong computer proficiency, web conferencing (ex.

Zoom, WebEx, MS Teams), and A/V setup and troubleshooting skills (projector setup, TV and audio systems, etc.).

Preferred Adobe Creative Suite, LMS, Cloud storage services, and general audio/video editing know-how.

Other Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field (Communications, English, Theater/Performance Arts, Business, or Marketing, for example).

Neat, professional appearance and outgoing demeanor.

Must have a dependable vehicle with valid vehicle insurance.

Good driving record and valid driver’s license.

Valid passport.

Moderate travel may be required – Average up to 50%.

Employee must be able to cover their non-airfare travel expenses prior to reimbursement (processed weekly).
