Commercial Mortgage Servicing (CMS) is the industry leader and provider of real estate loan servicing in the United States, with global locations in India. CMS provides the best in class mortgage servicing for a variety of third party customers and stakeholders, including Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS), Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS), US Government-Sponsored Entities (GSE), US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Interim Lenders, Specialized Warehouse Lenders, and Secondary-Market Lenders. CMS also provides loan and portfolio level asset management for SRE/Real Estate Capital markets (RECM) balance sheet loans, and loan and facility level asset management for Commercial Mortgage Loan Finance (CMLF). Services include: payment and escrow processing, cash and treasury management, asset management and surveillance – loan covenants, borrower consent requests, and investor reporting and collateral administration.

The Client Service Consultant 4 position within Commercial Mortgage Servicing Specialized Cash Management Sales plays an integral role to our success. The Client Service Consultant is responsible for consulting with relationship managers and relationship associates to implement Treasury Management products and services and Account Analysis processes for a diverse customer base, including a strong focus on Deposit Account Control Agreement (DACA) accounts and their special requirements. The team operates in a centralized model and is responsible for reviewing, validating, and processing all requests related to Demand Deposit Account openings, closings, and maintenance, ensuring they meet all quality guidelines and regulatory requirements applicable. The team supports a portfolio of over 80,000 bank accounts handled by relationship management team for Commercial Real Estate, Community Lending & Investment, and the Commercial Mortgage Servicing lines of business. 

Specific responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • The CSC plays an important role as risk manager by reviewing/validating that all requests for treasury management products and services have proper documentation in place, submitting the request to implement said services on the appropriate bank systems, and confirming they are setup correctly. Further ensuring we are following all required Enterprise and Treasury Management Standards, protocols, and procedures, and meeting all quality guidelines and regulatory requirements applicable.
  • Serving as the control point between the customer facing relationship teams to ensure accurate documentation and processing.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of client service experience, related business experience, or a combination of both demonstrated through work or military experience

Other Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Treasury Management Sales, Implementation, or Client Services experience
  • Systems experience including: Wholesale Integrated Customer Enrollment (WICE), Online Forms, Commercial Electronic Office (CEO), Unified Access Module (UAM), Account Analysis/Analysis Inquiry Retrieval (AIR), Hogan, TM Legal Wizard, Operations Image Browser (OIB), Web Encapture, Wholesale Customer Information System (WCIS)
  • Ability to meet all Service Level Agreements
  • Excellent risk management skills
