Customer Service Advocate


This is a Full-time position in San Antonio, TX posted June 1, 2021.

Fully Remote Position


BriteCore is seeking to hire a Customer Service Advocate 1, to help provide excellent customer service and technical support to our clients. This position’s work schedule is between 9am and 6 pm eastern time zone.

About the PositionResponsibilities

  • Assist with client support, client training, and production documentation
  • Available to answer client phone calls including after-hours emergency calls on rotation
  • Provide excellent service through writing and over the phone
  • Identify customers needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions
  • Provide after-hours support in emergency situations


  • Read client materials and analyze for potential problems (such as missing, unclear, or contradictory information) and new software requirements for BriteCore
  • Be the first point of contact for newly submitted tickets
  • Effectively identify and route tickets to designated teams
  • Provide regular communication to the client about progress on submitted tickets
  • Manage backlog of customer submitted tickets until resolution
  • Assist with other tasks as needed

Skills and Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Experience in the insurance industry (Commercial and Personal P&C, Workers Comp, Auto)
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Friendly, empathetic, and patient with others
  • Superior analytical, organizational, and research abilities
  • High level of initiative and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work after normal business hours
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a day
