JOB TITLE: Customer Service Representative

The Maxie Insurance Agency is a local insurance agency providing a variety of insurance products all over Texas. From auto and home insurance to Commercial General Liability and business auto insurance our agency is ready to deliver for our clients. Our agency has a small trained team that provides a high level of customer service to our clients.

As our agency grows and expands on the insurance products and offerings our team must also grow. Our team has a family feel and it expands to our clients. We are seeking a Customer Service and Sales Representative to join our team!

1. JOB SUMMARY:

The Customer Service and Sales Representatives work to maximize positive customer experiences by responding to customer inquiries or complaints regarding the company’s products or services. They will communicate with internal and external customers about basic underwriting guidelines, policies, and marketing initiatives to service customer accounts. Additionally, Customer Service and Sales Representatives will analyze, clarify, and resolve policy, and account-related questions. The position of the Customer Service and Sales Representative offers not only the opportunity for retention but agency growth through the expansion of a household by means of cross-selling multiple lines. This action will generate greater retention within the agency as well as new business growth. Customer Service and Sales Representative will similarly contribute to agency growth through marketing and communicating with former customers and new prospects about products the agency offers.

Job Requirements:

JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES REGULARLY PERFORMED:

  • Handle incoming customer service calls
  • Dispatch incoming customer phone calls
  • Accept customer calls and return customer
  • Maintain customer service related information for customer accounts
  • Ensure quality customer service and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain customer service voicemail and return customer calls
  • Provide customers with superior customer service
  • Capturing customer information and answering customer inquiries
  • Resolve inbound customer calls regarding account
  • Take customer orders and provide high-quality customer service
  • Make out going customer service calls
  • Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service
  • Resolve any customer service issues
  • Answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service
  • Provide customer support and handling customer inquiries
  • Combining excellent customer service skills
  • Assure quality customer service to all customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
  • Provide superior customer service with all customer interactions
  •  Cross-sells all products at every opportunity through pivoting

  • Set Appointments each day

  • Aid in making cold calls, and other marketing efforts, to potential new clients

  • Prepare annual review appointments for the account executives in his/her specialist field

  • Continually follow-up on X dates and set new prospect appointments

  • Utilize the agency system(s) on a continual basis to update policy and database information

  • Coordinates thank you/welcome letters for new households on a continual basis

  • Reviews cancellation and renewal lists on a weekly basis to ensure high level of retention and profitability.  Makes calls and sends letters when appropriate on cancellations and renewal changes

  • Sets up and maintains files on all new business accounts for their specialist field

  • Always ask for referrals and thank customers for their business

  • Manage dashboard activities such as my alerts, marketing postcards/letters, and ACAR telephone follow-up
