Inside Sales/Sales Support

This is a Full-time position in Houston, TX posted June 9, 2021.

Sunny Sky Products is the leading manufacturer and distributor of specialty beverage concentrates and beverage enhancers.

Our premium beverage products reach an array of retail customers including convenience stores, restaurants, concessions, schools, and institutional facilities.

Sunny Sky’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and corporate office is located in Houston, TX, where we produce a variety of thirst appealing beverages.

These beverages include fountain soft drinks, fountain flavors, tea, tea sweeteners, frozen beverages, juices, Hispanic beverages and coffee toppings and flavoring syrups.

Job Description
This position will serve as a key support person for our Sales team and as the corporate office liaison between customers/distributors and the sales and marketing teams so the department runs efficiently and effectively.

Major Job Functions
*Assist Sales Team with customer satisfaction issues and determine resolutions.

Situations and products will evolve with experience.
*Assist with daily and weekly sales reporting as well as provide detailed monthly analysis of sales efforts.
*Build strong working relationships with Customers and Sales Representatives.
*Acquire and communicate relevant customer news with the internal team so everyone is informed.
*Provide sales and product information for sales team when required.
*Support regional sales team with customer proposals, presentations, sample requests, signage requests, plan-o-grams and sales reports.
*Research industry data and beverage trends, gather customer insights from sales team to keep product offering aligned with customer interest and needs.
*Attend quarterly SKU rationalization mtgs, provide insight, and update stock and active item lists accordingly.
*Organize and maintain the customer and distributor database, stock items, price lists, new customer/new item generation and reports.
*Assist Sales & Marketing with tradeshow planning.
*Inside sales, field calls, and track leads through various channels and convey opportunities to each Regional Sales Manager (RSM) or Key Account Manager (KAM)

Ideal Requirements
*3-5 years inside sales/sales support experience.
*Prior demonstrated high level organizational and multi-tasking skills.
*Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)
*Must possess computer proficiency and keyboarding skills including familiarity with the computer programs of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
*Detail oriented and comfortable with reports & analysis is essential.
*Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, be self-motivated with a desire to excel and grow within the company; team player willing to cross-train is essential.
*Knowledge of CRM software Salesforce.
*Be honest & trustworthy
*Organized & able to multi-task
