Sales Support Representative

We are currently seeking a Sales Support Representative to join our team in Stafford, TX (77477)

Optimal (Golden Max LLC) provides highly automated logistics inventory services, along with solution-driven capabilities targeted at reducing customers’ operating and sales expense. We have expanded from our traditional Optimal Overstock to include Optimal Master Distribution (MD) and Optimal Government Services (OGS). About the Role:

This position is primarily responsible for providing customer service support to the organization by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. This position is also responsible for initiating and/or implementing corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction are maintained by performing the following duties.

Our Perfect Candidate

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is required.

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Intermediate – Basic working knowledge of MS Office Suite of Programs. Basic Typing Skills.

• Acceptable level of telephone and communication skills as demonstrated in interviews.

• High proficiency with Excel is required.

Required Abilities and Skills:

• Demonstrated proficiency of MS Office Suite of Programs.

• Accomplished typing skills.

• Superior telephone and communication skills as demonstrated in interviews.

Job Requirements:

What you’ll do: 

• Essential duties for the position including requirements, tasks, work to be complete.

• Assist with answering phones & redirecting calls to appropriate departments.

• Handle Customer Calls requesting ETA of items already on order.

• Handle customer requests for Tracking & Confirmation Information.

• Handle Customer Inventory and Pricing Inquiries.

• Contact customers to notify of cancellation of backordered items that become No Source.

• Run Reports out of the Company’s software program to review Open Order Status.

• Order Entry from customer’s faxed purchase orders or via phone orders.

• Part Allocation.

• Fax Order Confirmations to customers.

• Releasing orders that have been placed on hold.

• Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.

• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
