Systems Monitoring Support Manager


This is a Full-time position in Austin, TX posted May 12, 2021.


The Systems Monitoring Support Manager will work alongside automation engineers, technology vendors, consultants, and terminal operation staff to ensure that optimum productivity and efficiency is maintained at all times by effective operation of the automated operating systems and equipment.

  • must demonstrate skill in using remote monitoring systems, understanding alarms and disseminating accurate and timely information for problem resolution in a live environment.
  • must have the ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • will develop a keen understanding of the interface between support and operational systems to optimize and maintain operational productivity.
  • will help to lead the direction and growth of the team as part of a collaborative environment with other engineers and support teams.
  • will have the functional and technical knowledge and skills to perform the job at a high level of accomplishment.
  • will exercise discretion and good judgment with regard to confidential information.

  • Actively monitor real-time performance of automated operations, equipment and processes to ensure safety, efficiency and reliability
  • Respond to monitoring systems alerts and irregularities promptly and effectively, and communicate relevant, detailed information to terminal operations staff and automation engineers for corrective action.
  • Coordinate with automation engineers, technology vendors, consultants, and terminal operations staff regarding operational adjustments, delays and systems issues.
  • Record all delays experienced and all faults associated with the automated operations system.



Bachelor’ s Degree

Job Requirements:

  • Resolve software and hardware issues
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all operations systems hardware/software
  • Provide technical systems support for a product ownership team
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for chemical compounding systems
  • Resolving hardware, software and voice/data communication systems issues
  • Resolving application and technology support issues
  • Maintain documentation for various hardware/software technologies
  • Provide customer support on site for technical support training and/or start up assistance
  • Provide end user device management and support, hardware/software lifecycle management, device control and security support
  • Deploy standardized hardware and software solutions
  • Create optimal server infrastructure in support of new applications by researching and recommending hardware/software technologies in support of application requirements
  • Manage integrated software and hardware systems and assists in the development of systems
  • Troubleshoot issues related to database systems
  • Troubleshoot teleconferencing systems and related hardware
  • Providing technical support for proposal responses
  • Shooting and solutions for hardware and software
  • Help support applications and internal clients
  • Provide support and resolution for system issues impacting applications used within customer service
  • Assist users with software applications to improve system utilization and user productivity
  • Providing computer desktop support; technology-related training, and company desktop functions, including PC software support
