RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client seeking a Tech Support for Helpdesk in Georgetown, TX. Summary As part of the IT function, the Campus Ops role provides key support functions for all computing and communications technology on campus and assigned to remote Team Members. Responsibilities Deploy all technology needs to new Team Members and new Company-Owned store locations Workstations and necessary peripheral devices Point of Sale system installations Maintain and ensure functionality of all technology assets assigned to support Team Members on and off campus as well as Company-Owned stores Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications Ensure security, privacy and proper usage of company-provided assets Provide training and guidance to end users on operation of hardware and software as required Organize, schedule and execute upgrades and maintenance without interfering with end users Replace technology as needed due to warranty termination andor failure Maintain records of all technology assets deployed which include but is not limited to Make, Model, age, serial, warranty, software licensing, software versioning, etc. Keep detailed records of all service calls and deployments in the internal helpdesk system REQUIREMENTS Associate degree in Information Technology, A+ Certification, or equivalent work experience Demonstrates a solid knowledge of IT systems and industry best practices Positive attitude and friendly demeanor with an understanding of how to work with other people to accomplish the required tasks Flexible enough to work within a fast-paced environment that is subject to rapid shifts as well as have good communication skills and an ability to think dynamically Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities Experience with both Windows and Mac based systems Software experience with Microsoft Office and other business applications Must be able to provide Telephone Support to remote users Experience supporting printers a plus Experience with cloud-based telephone systems a plus Must have a strong understanding of IT principles with the ability to communication those principles and technical concepts effectively to a varied and mostly non-technical audience Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
