We live and breathe our core values, always putting people first.Check out our website to see who we are www.6thavestorytelling.ComWhat You’ll Do:The Creative Director sits at the helm of our art department, leading and guiding our team of in-house and freelance designers, photographers, and videographers to execute outstanding deliverables.

As the lead of the creative department, they assure all scorecard measurables are achieved by their direct reports.

Additionally, this role is responsible for researching, developing, and creating executable processes around new and existing 6th Ave services.

This person has client-facing marketing experience, is excellent at leading and managing a team, and is constantly seeking to learn more about marketing website, email, social media, print collateral, brand identity, packaging, video, photo, etc.Art DirectionConceptualize and communicate campaign vision for social media graphics, websites, brand identity, packaging, email design, and other marketing materialsLead the art department in executing client deliverables on time and on-budgetDelegate projects to in-house and freelance creatives in coordination with Strategic Brand ManagerEstablish art department standards for production, productivity, quality, and client servicesCollaborate with the Brand and Social Strategists in aligning deliverable priorities with client objectives to deliver high-quality work on time and on budgetDevelop presentation approaches, styles, and techniques for the team to implementPresenting final layouts, storyboards, and illustrations to the team, encouraging members to provide feedback, and responding to internal commentary and requestsClient CommunicationPresent or oversee presentation of final concepts and coordinate production and dissemination to clientsAttend client Onboarding, strategy sessions and client facing kick off meetingsAttend client presentations, as necessaryMeet with clients in regard to one-off design deliverables and projectsEmail correspondence with clients, as necessary, for design deliverables in coordination with strategic leadership teamTeam LeadershipRepresents the entire 6th Ave Art Department as a core member of the 6th Ave Leadership teamOversee the art department by hiring, training, assigning, scheduling, and mentoring staff graphic designers, web developers, photographers, videographers, content creators, etc.Ensure team adheres to current processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and proposing and creating processes and tools to support design operationsWhat You Should Have:The desire and ability to become an expert in small business marketing5 years proven experience leading and executing marketing strategies and teams, preferably for a small to medium sized business5 years experience working in client facing roles with strong skill set in executive client communication (verbal and written)A background in creative copywriting and graphic design / art directionProject and team management experienceExperience working on a variety of projects, including branding, websites, photo, video, etc.What You’ll Get:Compensation $65,000 $120,000 (based on experience level)Flexibility Our team works in our Fort Worth HQ about 60% of the time.
