Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center

This is a Contract position in Houston, TX posted July 29, 2021.

ADMINISTRATIVE PROGRAM ASSISTANT Position Summary: A great candidate for this role is a motivated learner who pursues excellence and enjoys thinking outside the box.

This position, reporting to the program manager to the Comprehensive Behavior Program for Children, will support staff with administrative duties and other projects as needed.

This admin is the first point of contact for any external autism service providers, organizations, schools, and parents and families when they are seeking services.

What You’ll Do: Assist in scheduling sessions, communicate with families enrolled in services Build and maintain company culture through communication with staff and community members Support the Comprehensive Behavior Program, including phone support
– talking with families and other team members via phone communication, including filling in during PTO and leaves Maintain program events calendar Maintain program inventories, supply ordering, and shipping needs Provide administrative support for program staff including filing, faxing, and room reservations Who You Are: Customer service and/or scheduling experience preferred Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with staff, clients, and parents Organized with exceptional detail-oriented skills Experience with MS Office, Google Docs, Chrome, and web-based systems Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal Self-motivated with the ability to meet and exceed goals Ability to work with independently and collaboratively.

Ability to work well with individuals of diverse backgrounds.

Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
