Position Summary
Participates in design, development and implementation of architectural deliverables, to include components of the assessment and optimization of data created, transported, and/or used within the system design and review of user requirements.

Supports the determination of technical and operational feasibility of the data used within solutions.

Develops prototypes of the system design and works with database, operations, technical support and other IT areas as appropriate throughout development and implementation processes.

Must support multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor.

Will not have direct reports but will need to partner with other Information and Solution Architects.

Provides input on project impact and budget.

Typically 5 or more years of architecture experience.
Required Skills
-Deep understanding of Retail Banking and Wealth Management  information, processes and systems.-‘Big Data’ design patterns and approach.-Data and Information Design leveraging the IBM’s Information Framework (IFW) for Financial Services (FSDM)-Relational Data Management System partitioning and tuning expertise-Data movement Design (ETL)-Data Management Governance-Oracle and DB2 database Design & Management-SQL-Data warehousing-Wealth Management Processes
Desired Skills
-Deep knowledge of current Bank of America technical and business capabilities. -Strong understanding of Lean and Agile development methodologies.
