Manager, Audit and Business Operations- Cloud Infrastructure Engineering

Join us as we work to create a thriving ecosystem that delivers accessible, high-quality, and sustainable healthcare for all.We are looking for a Manager of Audit and Business Operations to join our Cloud Infrastructure Engineering department. Your job will be to lead all audit and reporting activities for CIE, acting as an informed and influential member of the Operations team, and the CIE department. This person will also be a key contact for other internal departments, in particular Internal Audit, Information Security, Compliance, Legal, Sales RFP, and Cloud Engineering and Operations Program Management Organization.But enough about us; let’s talk about you.You are a driver and a strategic influencer. You measure success with increased customer satisfaction and delivery efficiencies (financial/velocity). You are all about using data to tell the story – analytics-minded and data-driven to ensure that goals are measurable and aligned across teams with a focus on customer value. You are an effective analyst, a good communicator and a focused collaborator for a diverse set of stakeholders and execution partners.The Team: Our Cloud Infrastructure team at athenahealth is responsible for shaping the strategy to run technical infrastructure at massive scale. The infrastructure and pipeline services that you will be delivering will power the transformation of athenahealth products and enable the company to open the network and create the healthcare platform that enables the next generation of healthcare services.Job Responsibilities* Proactively plan all audit programs/projects where CIE is involved ahead of the kick-off from all audits to ensure capacity allocation of resources.* Communicate and coordinate activities including control narrative reviews, evidence collection, walkthroughs, data center visits, remediation plans, and policy document development and review.* Coordinate one-off audit activities, e.g., first time certification for different environments, pre-assessments ahead of new or upgraded audits, yearly DR testing, etc.*Typical Qualifications* Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of project management experience, or equivalent (defined as High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years progressive experience in project management).* 3-5 years of relevant work experience in project management and/or process improvement.* Experience with audit required.About athenahealth* Our Vision: To create a thriving ecosystem that delivers accessible, high-quality, and sustainable healthcare for all.* Our Location: This role is located in downtown Austin, TX in the historic Seaholm Power Plant building.* Our Culture: At athenahealth, our employees (or “athenistas”) are committed to making healthcare smarter.
