This is a Full-time position in Houston, TX posted June 16, 2021.

Description:TCO Concrete, Inc., is looking for a Sales Representative with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Construction Sales or in a related field, in the Houston area.

This position reports to the TCO Concrete, Inc., Manager.Outside Sales Representative must have solid understanding of the Concrete industry needed to establish and maintain positive relationships with current and potential customers in order to reach maximum sales volume and profitability for concrete sales.Make direct calls on customers.

Assist customers regarding service, pricing, order taking, merchandising and product training as needed.Maintain a master schedule of incoming projects and assure that successful bids are entered into the job cost system.Monitor material and labor costs associated with ongoing projects, in order for them to be updated in the master database estimating software.Call on new accounts such as contractors, sub-contractors, government agencies, supply houses, and developers, to solicit new business.Handle inside and outside sales of products.Respond to inside sales requests from contractors.Review bid documents and specificationsMonitor material and labor costs associated with ongoing projects, in order for them to be updated in the master database estimating software.Prepare bid packages and quotes.Target and acquire new accounts, while maintaining existing accounts by strengthening customer relationships.Achieve sales volume and maximize prices based on market conditions and company goals.Monthly review of pricing and volume analysis: actual vs target.Develop product knowledge through value added sales, trade shows, customer questions, and product quality resolution.Musthave the ability to identify best product for customer needs and advise accordingly.Prepare quotes/bids for projects using appropriate worksheets that provide company unit prices.Follow through on customer satisfaction on jobs awarded.

Monitor product quality during delivery and installation.Assist operations/dispatch in servicing deliveries on site.Facilitate pre-construction, construction and post-construction meetings with appropriate internal staff as required by the complexity of projects awarded.Immediately report concerns regarding billing, credit, delivery and quality of product to appropriate internal departments and coordinate meetings with other departments to address customer concerns.Skills:2 years of experience in Construction SalesSelf driven and highly motivated.Excellent customer service skills a must.Strong verbal and written communication skills.High School or GED equivalent.Able to work unsupervised.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Knowledgeable in CRM.Preferred Qualifications:College degree in engineering, marketing and sales, or related field.Two to Five years in a sales related function calling directly on Engineers, Architects, Business Owners and Contractors.Preference given to those with construction industry or construction materials experience.Bilingual a plus.
