Business Development Executive-Healthcare-Houston-Austin San Antonio

Forbo Flooring Systems

This is a Full-time position in Houston, TX posted July 20, 2021.

Responsibilities :
The Business Development Executive will be expected to leverage existing industry knowledge and relationships to grow Forbo Flooring Healthcare Sales in Houston, Austin and San Antonio, by winning projects in partnership with their North American Markets & Strategy team.

Specifically, The Business Development Executive Will Be Responsible For:

· Understanding regional and client needs early on, driving early client engagement and positioning.

· Using and optimizing Forbo’s client relationship management (CRM) tool as our primary communication medium.

· Understanding, categorizing, prioritizing and managing clients while maintaining trusted client relationships and developing new business.

· Identifying and building trusted relationships with key regional clients and decision makers.

· Developing new relationships with End Users, General Contractors, Architects/Designers and Flooring Contractors.

· Understanding and analyzing the competition.

· Providing real-time updates through CRM and engaging in weekly meetings and/or recording notes as required.

· Identifying target accounts and utilizing our CRM system to schedule meetings with customers in the healthcare and senior living industries.

· Scheduling and executing a minimum of 8 new business meetings per week.

· Working closely with and communicating effectively to internal teams.

· Developing a clear understanding of what matters to clients and develop solutions to exceed client needs.


· Bachelor’s degree in, Construction Management, Business or related discipline.

· 5 or more years’ related business development experience and/or relationships within the healthcare and senior living industry.

· Proficient in sales and managing a large territory.

· Strong presentation and listening skills.

· The ability to get in front of customers and understand their needs through a consultative sales process.

· Based in the Houston, Austin or San Antonio metropolitan area.

· Must be able to travel the entire territory on a continual basis.

· Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of management and staff in a fast-paced environment while simultaneously efficiently and effectively managing a diversified workload and challenging situations.

· Must thrive on building lasting customer relationships that develop into sales and growth in the territory.
