Children’s Health: Registered Nurse – Neuro-Trauma

RN – Pediatric Intensive Care/Neuro Trauma About the Job This nurse will be responsible for the care of patients ranging from infants to young adults, delivering quality care to patients, and supporting our families, while collaborating with our interdisciplinary team.

Our patient population consists of but is not limited to post-operative, neurological, chronic illness, pulmonary, organ transplants, trauma, single or multi-organ failure.

Comprehensive monitoring due to the extensive needs of these patients will be a priority.

The registered nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care/Neuro Trauma Department in Dallas, Texas.

This is a full-time Night position, 7:00 p.M.

– 7:00 a.M., 72 hours a pay period, rotating weekends.

Some Highlighted Responsibilities Strong assessment skills and demonstrate critical care thinking Evaluates and revises the plan of care based on evolving needs.

Provides comprehensive, individualized teaching based on identified learning needs of families.

Management of Chest Tubes, Feeding Tubes, High Flow Oxygen, Nasal Cannulas, Tracheostomies, Ventilators, Central Lines, IV Medications advanced modalities such as ECMO and CRRT Qualifications Experience: 2 years RN experience in the ICU, preferably in the Pediatric ICU Education: BSN License: Current TX RN License Certification: BLS, PALS About Us At Children’s Health, we value the role each team member plays in helping us deliver on our mission of making life better for children.
