The Coordinator is responsible for public reporting of hospital acquired infections and notifiable conditions to federal, state, and local Health Authorities as appropriate.

Provides support to the Infection Control Director with development and implementation of policies and protocols.

Provides ongoing education to new and existing clinical staff and physicians regarding infection control principles and practices and is a resource for patient care units.Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing * Minimum of 3 years healthcare experience.* Broad knowledge and familiarity with healthcare-related regulatory and accreditation requirements.* Demonstrated experience and knowledge of database systems* Possesses strong analytical, organizational and communication skills* RN with current licensure * Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferredNotice Our Company?s recruiters are here to help unlock the next possibility within your career and we take your candidate experience very seriously.
