An exciting career opportunity has just opened up for the Nurse Director Case Management in Eastern Texas! This facility is seeking an experienced Case Management nurse leader to join their team.

This 340+ bed short term acute care hospital is located in Eastern Texas, and offers a range of service lines, including a 24-hour emergency center, advanced perioperative services, diagnostic imaging, radiology, and screening, a behavioral health program, and cardiovascular care. This expanding healthcare facility is recognized as an advanced trauma center, an accredited chest pain center, and offers primary stroke care. This medical center is known for its delivery of high-quality healthcare and its importance and value in the surrounding community.

The Nurse Director Case Management will be responsible for oversight of the entire Case Management department, including all Case Manager RNs and Licensed Social Workers (LSWs). The Case Management Nurse Director will maintain oversight of all utilization review activities, providing their knowledge and expertise in regards to current Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed care guidelines. Working closely with the Chief Nursing Officer CNO and Chief Financial Officer CFO, the Nurse Director Case Management will supervise patient care coordination throughout the entire facility, ensuring needs are met, and assisting to provide ongoing communication between RN staff, physicians, Case Managers, and hospital leadership.

The ideal candidate for Nurse Director Case Management will possess 5+ years of case manager management experience, in addition to Case Management certification, as well as a nursing or healthcare-related Master’s degree.
