Community Health Network is seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide pediatric care to patients from newborn to adulthood. The ideal candidate will love working with children of all ages and find ways to be fun, silly and engaging with kids during their appointments. They have a positive, encouraging attitude that they use to help children feel comfortable even when dealing with serious medical and health issues. The candidate will be embedded in an integrated care clinic that follows patient-centered medical home (PCMH) guidelines and principles.

As a federally qualified health center (FQHC), Community Health Network provides dental, medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy services within the Freeport, Clute, Angleton, Alvin, Pearland, League City, Galveston, Houston, and Bacliff areas.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Texas
  • Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (PNP)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Minimum of one (1) – two (2) years of nursing experience
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Texas
  • Experience working in a high-volume clinic environment.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
  • Must enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Knowledge of professional and ethical standards of health care delivery
  • Preferred – Experience in the health care field (primary or acute care).
  • Preferred – Experience working with non-profit organizations.
  • Preferred – Supervisory experience.
