Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

We are a Family Practice clinic that is independently owned and staffed by board certified Family Practice physicians. We have been proudly serving the community for 35 years. We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team of providers in Fort Worth, TX. This position will provide direct patient care through patient assessment, follow up examinations, diagnostic assessments, including ordering procedures and monitoring medications. We offer comprehensive medical services for patients of all ages. 
 
We are seeking an outgoing provider that has the ability to operate independently with respect to building and fostering their own patient panel.  
 
Due to our focus on providing high quality patient care, the qualifications, and responsibilities for the candidate that we are seeking include, but are not limited to: 
 
Qualifications: 
Current Texas license 
Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program 
2 Years Experience in Primary Care outpatient setting 
Able to simultaneously manage multiple tasks. 
Experience with basic desktop software, medical management, and EMR systems 
Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA rules and regulations 
Ability to exercise high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making. 
 
Responsibilities: 
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical illness 
Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments 
Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures 
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities 
Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care 
Develop relationships with patients that have been coming to the clinic for over 35 years and provide quality service
