Work Hours/Shift: Full Time – Days You Will Be Responsible For: To ensure the day to day operations of a clinic in regards to financial management, human resources, clinical quality, workflow optimization, and patient satisfaction. Oversees clinic managers in all daily office operations and delegates’ authority to assigned staff to achieve the following: Ensuring the highest quality of patient care, by establishing and maintaining quality control standards. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with physicians, managers and employees. Assists staff in understanding/implementing policies, procedures, objectives, for quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control. Develops guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary. Works with clinic managers and staff to establish and maintains an efficient and responsive patient flow system. Accurate and timely billing and collections of all charges. Oversees the clinic managers’ approval of office and medical supply inventory. Ensures Offices are opened and closed according to procedures. Ability to develop and initiate, in conjunction with local and regional management and physicians, strategies for growth and development. In conjunction with clinic managers, offices are staffed appropriately, by recruiting, hiring, providing orientation, development, evaluation, and payroll of medical office staff. Aids in the recruitment of physicians for THMA in conjunction with Texas Health Huguley strategic plan. All other daily operational tasks related to physician practice management. Responsible for achievement of quality metrics in assigned clinics Responsible for achievement of operational metrics in conjunction with corporate goals. Ability to read and evaluate physician financial packets Ability to implement projects set forth by the organization from start to completion QualificationsWhat You Will Need: Minimum of high school diploma 3 years or more in management role in a physician’s office Associate degree preferable but not required.Job Summary: An exempt management position that provides the leadership, direction, administration and coordination of all practice activities managing the daily operations of multiple physician offices. Supervises and coordinates staff and activities for clinical sites as assigned to increase growth and refine the practice and its operational systems. Responsible for the overall business operations of assigned practice sites. Oversees assigned practice managers who manage all clerical and clinical functions of the practice site while ensuring that the clinical quality and patient satisfaction are of the highest standards. Also responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Position carries direct responsibility for the new physician and/or new practice start up operations. This individual will also oversee the financial management, purchasing and regulatory compliance while ensuring clinical quality of assigned practice sites.Day-to-day responsibilities require good use of judgment regarding timely and appropriate communication with staff.
