Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist

Overview: Overview
– The Trellis School is looking for part-time SLPs to join their growing therapy team.

We are a non-public school located in Sparks, MD that provides services for students with autism, as well as other related disorders.Our related services team consists of speech, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and music therapy.

SLPs are an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, supporting exceptional outcomes for our students.COVID Message:The health and well-being of our clients, staff, and community are of the utmost importance to LEARN Behavioral.

Responsibilities: Work collaboratively as an integral part of a multidisciplinary teamProvide direct speech services to studentsProvide continual parent and staff training and educationWrite daily log notes, progress reports, and IEPsConduct formal and informal assessmentsMaintain therapy materials and spaces Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is requiredLicenseto practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the Maryland DHMH (or must obtain license by time of hire)ASHA Certification is ideal but not required (American Speech Language Hearing Association Certification)Clinical Fellows are welcome to applyExperience working with children with autismExperience using AAC is preferredAbility to train othersStrong verbal and communication skillsAvailable in the mornings for 4-6 hours; Flexible schedule; Part-time hours in personTrellis Services/Learn Behavioral offers a competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits plans including 401(k), personal time off, and paid holidays.Trellis Services/Learn Behavioral is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
