Overview: Scope of Responsibilities: Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy department.

Assists in the training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

Relies on experience and professional judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.Job Summary: Responsible for the implementation and adherence to the Kinney Standard of Practice as it relates to the provision of the highest quality health care service to our customers Responsibilities: Follows the Kinney Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions and counsel patientsPerforms all quality assurance steps to ensure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed.

Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelinesFollows all State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of PharmacyOversees the initial submission, resubmission and collection of all third party claimsManages and balances the pharmacy inventory to provide for maximum turns while still remaining in-stock for customer needs.
