Responsibilities include:

    – Support the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in basic management responsibilities

    – Supports and helps execute all meal period services (breakfast, lunch, dinner) – this would include but is not limited to being at the pass, touching tables and engaging with guests

    – Oversee the buffet, employee café, and ensure BEO’s are executed correctly and efficiently

    – Plan, coordinate & implement special events and holiday functions

    – Manage hourly kitchen employees through training and coaching – this includes supervising preparation, evaluating flavors, and ensuring consistency of dishes

    – Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction – this would include fostering teamwork and providing feedback

    – Monitor product usage and communicate food order needs in a timely fashion

    – Understand lead times and delivery frequencies from various vendors

    – Must be adept at conflict resolution and possess superior customer service skills

    – Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment Qualifications . Will also maintain compliance with state, federal, and local food handling requirements and standards as well Hyatt Eco Sure compliance standards

    – Completes the duties of a line cook when needed, and is capable of performing the duties of all kitchen positions.

    – Ensures products are stored at the correct temperatures and the recipe books are up to date with current menu items, portions, and ingredients.
