Support, communicate and reinforce the mission and vision of theenterprise.Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (internal orexternal, including donors for select positions) through multiple feedback channels in order to resolve issues anddrive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential TasksDeliver an impeccable donation experience.Maintain a good working relationship with co-workers.Perform quality control function.Ensure all necessary records are legible, accurate and complete.Perform phlebotomy and automated collection procedures.Perform, assess and treat adverse donor reactions.Perform research or other record review, including review of donor’s research informed consent.Maintain and organize donor/patient records, document data, complete forms and submit as required.Maintain a good working relationship with research coordinators including reporting issues relating to donors,donor groups, or departmental operations.Attend and receive training at Site Initiation Visits for new research studies.Performs other duties as assigned.Non-Essential TasksProvide assistance to other departments as needed.EducationRequires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.

Prefer one or more years of medical education.Licenses and/or CertificationsCITI training requiredCertification as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist preferredExperienceRequires medical background experience and/or phlebotomy certification.Clinical research experience preferred.KnowledgeMust acquire a working knowledge of donor processing criteria.Must acquire a working knowledge of medical terminology.Must be or become familiar with the community and area serviced.Must maintain knowledge of and perform according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies.SkillsMust demonstrate competency in review of research informed consent documentation.Must have strong customer service skills.Must have strong computer skills.Must be able to print and write legibly.Must demonstrate competency in determining donor eligibility.Must demonstrate competency in performing donor registration, screening, phlebotomy, and monitoring donorsafety.AbilitiesMust be a team player.Must be able to keep information confidential.Must be neat in appearance and well groomed.Must be professional, organized, detail oriented, communicative, and have the ability to greet the public in afriendly and courteous manner.
