Supervisor, Hematology Oncology Clinic – GI/GU Programs

This is a Full-time position in Dallas, TX posted August 19, 2021.

Job Summary
This position will be supporting medical and surgical GI/GU patients in the Hematology Oncology Clinic in Dallas.

Monday through Friday, no weekends or major holidays.

Experience and Education
BSN required.

Licensure as Registered Nurse by Board of Nurse Examiners for State of Texas.

A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) are required.

Five (5) years general nursing to include one (1) year supervisory experience.

Oncology experience preferred.

Job Duties
Oversees and/or teaches others specialized knowledge and skills necessary to perform techniques and routines in area of specialty.

Provides operational management of daily patient care services.

Assesses, monitors, and evaluates systems for delivery of care.

Assists in development of patient care standards of practice and personnel performance.

Designs, executes, and delivers effective system of internal controls applicable and in compliance to laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.

Facilitates teamwork through planned group processes, i.e.

workshops, seminars, and staff meetings.

Supervises nursing staff and/or other non-licensed medical or office support personnel.

May provide direct patient care.

Performs other duties as assigned.
