Our focus is to bring an intuitive, advanced clinical trial workflow remotely accessible to sites and patients, with an emphasis on speed to value for sponsors, CROs, patients and regulators.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will be a global product owner of a clinical development portfolio that includes multiple sub-offerings.

You will lead efforts to advance how technology can be used to improve the clinical research process.

IBM Clinical Development (ICD) is a unified software as a service (Saas) electronic data capture (EDC) platform that reduces the time and cost of clinical trials and enables life sciences organizations to bring therapies to market faster to benefit patients.

ICD enables the design and management of clinical trials with more control, convenience and confidence through one interface that integrates: Patient engagement (ePRO); Data integration; Reporting & analytics; Medical coding; Randomization and Trial Supply Management (RTSM); Endpoint adjudication; eConsent; and Protocol DesignYour MissionThe IBM Clinical Development (ICD) Offering Leader will drive a comprehensive software product strategy to meet the data management and advanced analytic needs across the global clinical trial enterprise.

You will be accountable for the management, implementation, growth and future vision for ICD.Responsibilities include: Define the scope and content of clinical development roadmap, including offering milestones; lead offering strategy for development and consumption of core services and capabilities which can be used to drive an enhanced user experience for ICD across all offerings.

Lead a team of offering managers who manage sub-offerings such as eConsent, ePRO, Protocol Design; oversee the software product management of the broader electronic data management offering.

Work across the full product team using Agile methodology.

Manage the General Availability process for new releases by coordinating with other groups, such as IT, Training and Professional Services.

Act as a focal point for enhancement requests and software product guidance, both for customer focus groups and internal focus groups.

Promote use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.

Ensure teams work within our cross-functional offering management lifecycle framework to deliver against milestones and key artifacts (such as offering plans and business cases) Develop communication tools and channels to provide transparency on offering strategy, roadmaps, and delivery plans and schedules and ensure they are continually maintained Lead ongoing competitive, market, and user research to ensure decisions are based on sound use of both qualitative and quantitative data.

Support sales and other customer-facing teams in high-value meetings with prospects and customers.Your Competencies: Extensive experience providing software product direction to meet business, market and user needs.

Strong experience with cross-functional teams including software development and software quality teams.If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range for this position $132,000 to $239,000 is based on a full-time schedule.

Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience.
