Introducing the products, managing distribution, and providing wide ranging technical support in the field makes up who they are and what they do.Key Elements of the Position Managing existing customer base as well as expanding the company brandService direct accounts, supporting current distribution baseExpand the distribution base within specific geographical areasNo direct reportsWork independently and within various market segmentsTravel requiredESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Support Distributor Partners to maintain and balance the right mix of products for specified territoryDevelop relationships and increase product sales through buying group networksPossess capability to work with architects, floor dealers, general contractors, end users, and others in the industryUnderstand and implement company marketing and branding strategies throughout the territory and U.S.Develop and manage the geographically defined sales region by aggressively and actively making regular visits to existing and prospective customersConduct product demonstrations to highlight benefits and features of company productsReport daily account and opportunity information for all calls into CRM systemProvide field service and support by making technical recommendations and providing technical resources when necessaryFollow up with and call on all leads generated from trade shows or other exhibitsMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesPerform all other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS Skills and Abilities Required Bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum 5 years remote sales experience preferredExperience in flooring or building materials industry is highly preferredTechnical skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, CRM, online HR systemsStrong decision and negotiation skillsStrong organizational skillsHigh work ethic and professionalismMust have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving recordMust be able to lift 55-pound bags of product on occasionAttributes for Success Self-motivated and ability to work independentlyStrong communication skillsPresent, promote and sell products using persuasive techniques to existing and prospective customersAbility to manage multiple projectsEstablishing, developing and maintaining positive long-term business and customer relationshipsCompensation and BenefitsThe compensation package includes a base salary plus commission, company car/car allowance, iPhone, and computer.
