Sr. Human Resources Generalist

The Sr Human Resources Generalist provides

Perform HR related activities such as on-boarding/off-boarding, benefits, training, compliance, and employee relations.

Participate in recruiting, interviewing, screening, evaluating and selecting qualified applicants.

Responsible for developing and updating Job Descriptions with manager.

Partners with the management team to complete the annual performance review & merit planning process.

Interprets human resources policies, counsels managers and employees on questions concerning work policies and procedures.

Conduct and prepare material for employee orientations.

Conducts research, analyzes data and prepares recommendations on assigned projects.

Provide assistance to management team members regarding employee relations practices.

Responsible for on-boarding/off-boarding all employees in the HRIS systems. 

Is responsible for handling all employment verifications, requests for records, unemployment, FMLA/STD Administration

Assist the Sr. HRBP – , in the collection and processing of all Immigration paperwork.

Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as requested by running reports out of ADP payroll or the HRIS system. IE: benefits comparison reports, census information, and ad hoc reports as requested.

Manages the employee data of the company HRIS Systems to ensure accurate data; Prepare and analyze reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and/or divisions; Ensures accuracy of human resource dashboard data

Ensure all necessary documentation (references, screenings, competency evaluation, license verification, announcements, I-9s, etc.) is completed & clear before start date. Ensures that all employee paperwork is maintained properly in the electronic employee records. 

Coordinates the E-Verify process is complete for all team members.

Responsible handling employee inquiries regarding any Company sponsored health & welfare plans to address coverage issues, escalating the issue to the benefits provider when necessary and ensuring timely resolution.

During annual benefits open enrollment, assist with the conducting annual open enrollment presentations for the team

Provide support to employees on various HR related topics and respond to routine questions such as benefits, payroll, vacation, FMLA/STD/LTD, Wellness Programs, Workers Comp, Employee Appreciation, Performance Management, etc.

Build strong business relationships with employees, managers, and key business leaders.

Provide guidance, solutions and training to employees & managers.

Maintains up to date knowledge of employment law and regulatory guidelines related to human resources.

Actively participates, partners, or leads the planning of designated employee events/retention programs while staying within the approved budget with HR team members.

Maintain a high level of confidentiality due to exposure and availability to sensitive information.

Additional responsibilities as needed.

Job Requirements:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources preferred.

5-7 years’ experience in Human Resources & Benefits Administration

Must possess strong time management and organizational skills.

Must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail with accuracy and proven ability to multi-task.

Flexible and adaptable with an ability to perform in a rapidly changing, dynamic and growing work environment.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Must be client focused and take initiative to resolve problems.

Ability to build partnerships with various teams both internally and externally.

Proficient knowledge and experience using MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point

Strong verbal, written, and cross-culture communication skills, with an emphasis on interpersonal and group communication skills.

Strong orientation to quality, continuous improvement and customer service

Broad knowledge of Human Resources and associate relations practices.

Leadership & management experience preferred.
