Temporary Human Resources Coordinator

Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator is a key member of Lennar’s Region HR Team. This role will support regional HR goals and objectives, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and initiative in the execution of duties while ensuring compliance with risk and regulatory matters. Acts as Regional Liaison to our Corporate Human Resources Partners (Compensation, Benefits, Leave of Absence, and Talent Acquisition). This role will provide prompt, efficient, and distinctive service to internal clients in response to transactional and operational events occurring throughout the associate life-cycle.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Provides support of the associate life-cycle for all Divisions including new hire processing/onboarding, initial review of background checks, processing approved compensation changes, processing status changes, preparing approvals for job requisitions and employee transfers and exits
  • Assists Regional Recruiter with recruiting efforts including managing the applicant tracking system (iCims), obtaining approvals for open job requisitions (OJRs), posting and monitoring positions on internal and external job boards, closing positions once filled, and updating Regional OJR Spreadsheet
  • Educates associates and answers general inquiries regarding Company policies and procedures
  • Acts as Liaison between Division Associates in region and Corporate HR/Payroll/Benefits
  • Processes all associate separation paperwork including reporting on exit interviews for all Divisions
  • Maintains documentation for the Associate Referral Program and processes all bonuses awarded under this program
  • Provides various Workday and other types of reports describing associate data upon request
  • Supports Regional HR Team with day-to-day administrative tasks and special projects including travel arrangements and meeting planning
  • Makes suggestions for efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing HR operations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years associate degree or equivalent work experience; Bachelor’s degree a plus (B.S Human Resource Management or Business Management)
  • 1-2 years of Human Resource experience preferred
  • Must possess the ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; research ability; interpersonal skills; and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be flexible, a team player and interface professionally with all levels of our stakeholders
  • A reputation for discretion, integrity, judgment, responsiveness, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and computer data entry
  • Experience with Workday, highly preferred
