About This OpportunityResponsibilities:Summary:7-Eleven is seeking a Sr Cloud Network Engineer who is comfortable working in a challenging and diverse environment to take ownership of our cloud network infrastructure.

You will also provide escalation level support to internal team members and external clients via phone, email, chat or in person.

Candidates should be highly motivated, self-motivated and have excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

They must be a strong team player able to lead, train and collaborate with others.

Professional level certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI is preferred.Responsibilities:Design, plan, implement and maintain private, public and hybrid cloud network solutions / connectivityEnsure all aspects of the entire enterprise cloud networks are architecturally sound and highly availableResearch existing and emerging technologies that align with business requirements and provide effective solutions based upon extensive professional experience, industry best practices, knowledge of industry technologies through formal training and/or self-studyEvaluate the current cloud network architecture and develop action plans to make necessary improvementsDevelop and maintain accurate cloud network support documentation in a knowledge repositoryPerform network performance monitoring, trending and capacity planning for the enterprise cloud networksAnalyze, diagnose, and resolve customer issues within the 7-Eleven networkProvide Tier 3 and Tier 4 technical support for 7-Eleven’s network infrastructureCollaborate with 3rd party vendors to ensure the network stays operationalOther duties as assignedRequirements:Skilled in hybrid networking environments – connecting on-prem to cloud networks (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP)Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsActive listening and analysis to identify issues or problemsResearch and creativity to identify a solution to the issue or problemAbility to communicate resolutions in a simple, easy to understand mannerCommunication skillsVerbal and written – via phone, email, chat, etc.Must be able to clearly communicate instructions and current tasksMust be able to describe technical items to non-technical usersMulti-tasking skills ability to help a team member or customer real-time while performing other tasksPassionate about customer support, attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, work nights or weekends, as needed, and participate in an on-call rotationQualifications:Education and Experience:University degree in Information Technology or related field preferred5+ years of working experience in large enterprise (Fortune 1000) networks – (Cisco, f5, Juniper) is preferred2+ years working specifically in cloud network design, planning, connectivity, migration and supportExpert knowledge and understanding of common network protocols (e.G., TCP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, VPC, EC2, etc.)Certifications highly recommended – (i.E., AWS or Azure Certified Solutions Architect, etc.)#LI-NS1INDSJ711IT
