Application Developer

18th Judicial Circuit, Florida

This is a Contract position in Garland, TX posted September 21, 2022.

The 18th Judicial Circuit is hiring a full-time programmer.

This is not a traditional role or work environment, so we’re providing a lot of details about the role and our Circuit.

This is a government role with low-cost, high-quality healthcare, and the ability to participate in a pension program.

This is a mostly remote position based out of Brevard County, meaning on-site work in Titusville or Viera, FL might be needed to meet with other stakeholders and to learn the judicial system if you are not already familiar.

Our main application uses a LAMP stack.

The salary is $80,080 and that is a non-negotiable rate.

The position is responsible for planning; training; software application development, implementation, and maintenance; aids with technology acquisition, provides technical support to managers and end-users; attending meetings; and performing related administrative functions, including reporting.

This position involves frequent development with JavaScript, PHP, JSON, NetBeans, MySQL, DNN, and occasional development for Microsoft technologies.

The position works under general supervision independently developing work methods and sequences.
