Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer (Allen Bradley)

This is a Full-time position in Garland, TX posted March 26, 2021.

ProLink Resources currently has a new Direct Hire Controls Engineering opportunity available based out of the Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX area. We are hiring for multiple positions from mid-level to senior level!

If you love to travel, we also have other Direct Hire opportunities available that can be based remotely, but would require extensive travel (up to 85%).

If that much travel isn’t your thing, we have Direct Hire opportunities requiring less travel (30%+) available if you are located at, near, or open to relocating to, different worksite locations, including Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN, Las Vegas, NV , Los Angeles, CA, or Portland, OR.

General responsibilities include:

* Programming from scratch, debugging, and troubleshooting various automation systems – (Mainly Allen Bradley PLCs/Wonderware & Indosoft HMIs)
* Interfacing with clients and subcontractors and resolving problems and issues

Must have requirements:

* Ability to travel at least 30%
* Bachelor’s degree is required – Engineering preferred
* Must have previous experience with high speed conveyor systems (Warehouse, Distribution, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, or Parcel, etc…)
* At least 2 years experience, programming Allen Bradley PLCs from scratch (Studio 5000, RSLogix, ControlLogix preferred)
