Relay is seeking a high-performing, experienced Director of Sales, capable of thriving in a start-up environment and who can help our company meet its customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.

The Director of Sales will be responsible for launching our sales program, sales performance, maximizing sales potential, creating and executing sales plans, presenting plans to upper management, and ultimately building a team.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for generating leads and effectuating sales Achieve growth and sales targets through methodical sales strategy and implementation Ability to prospect and develop new revenue generating accounts.

Strong phone solicitation skills essential for the position Develop the annual revenue and marketing budget and interim forecasts Ability to lead teams effectively Create and maintain a specific, strategic and measurable Action Plan Understands CRM technology and possesses the ability to generate activity reports as it relates to account activity and solicitation performance Keeps abreast of market news and actively participates in memberships and networking opportunities within assigned market to promote business Responsible for knowing and abiding by all department and company policies and procedures.

Researches global competition Utilize your relationship with competitor counterparts to identify market trends, opportunity dates, etc.

Qualifications

Requirements:
Minimum of 5-10 years outside sales experience Bachelor’s degree Optimistic self-starter with high degree of drive, motivation, and initiative Technologically proficient with the ability to easily adapt and learn new systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Demonstrated excellent time management and organizational skills Superb interpersonal skills with a team player attitude Expect intensive startup work environment requiring a flexible schedule Resourceful, creative and continually driven to improve
